The “El Gaucho Grill Insert” is made out of high-grade, one-piece 304 stainless steel which allows one to cook while extracting the excess fat out of the meat. Reducing the fat out of the meat results in reduced flare ups or in some cases eliminating flare ups altogether. The grill works by extracting the extra fat by the V grooves in to the drip pan. The meat rests on the edges of the V grooves and the extra fat drips into the drip pan through the V shaped channels.
